We respect the intellectual property of others and expect the users of our Shift to Learn to do the same. If you are accessing Shift to Learn from outside Canada or the United States, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdictions. 2244493 Alberta Ltd. is the licensee of all necessary intellectual property rights for all Content including modules, software, logos, scripts, audio, and graphics, to name a few.
Here at 2244493 Alberta Ltd., we cherish user feedback gathered from surveys. By sharing feedback, you are granting us permission to use this feedback in any way we desire. You will not receive any compensation for the feedback we use. 2244493 Alberta Ltd. reserves the right to use similar or related feedback in conjunction with your user feedback.

- You are prohibited to access or attempt to access any other Visitor or Learner’s account or otherwise give a false account of your identity, including your affiliations with a person or entity, past or present.
- You will not share your account (log-in details) with someone else.

If you are copying, redistributing, or adapting any of the Content on Shift to Learn for non-commercial or commercial purposes, please send a request to shift.dv@ucalgary.ca with detailed information about what Content you would like to use as well as a description of use. You need to receive written permission prior to making any commercial or non-commercial use of any Content from Shift to Learn.
You are allowed to link to the publicly available Contents of Shift to Learn without our permission given that proper credit is provided. We request that you link to the Shift to Learn website rather than downloading portions of it to another web server so that our viewers will see our most up-to-date information. We are not responsible for the content of any sites that may be linked to or from Shift to Learn.

USER ID, INFORMATION, AND PASSWORD SECURITY
To access some Content and services, you may be required to set up an account by filling up some information requested in the form. Where provided a password and/or user ID, remember that these are to be kept in strict confidence. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of this information and are fully responsible for all activities that occur through the use of such. You agree to immediately notify Shift to Learn if: (a) your password and/or user ID are lost or stolen; (b) your password and/or user ID are improperly accessed or used; (c) the security of your password and/or user ID is compromised or in jeopardy of being compromised; or (d) you become aware of any other breach of security. You conform to provide true, accurate, and complete user information as requested by us from time to time and to promptly notify us of any changes to this information as required to keep such information held by us current, complete, and accurate.
If you are sending us an email or complete an online feedback form, the information you provided, is used by Shift to Learn in order to respond to your query. We do not use the information for creating individual profiles or disclosing the information to anyone other than those Shift to Learn employees who need to provide you with a response.
ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
By using Shift to Learn, you are forming an agreement with 2244493 Alberta Ltd. to follow our Terms and Conditions. When you create a profile on Shift to Learn, you are obligated to provide us with accurate and complete information and will alert us if any of this information changes.
2244493 Alberta Ltd. (Shift to Learn), in its sole discretion, may, without notice to you, suspend or terminate your user ID and/or password or your access to, or use of, the website (or any portion thereof), for any reason, including: (a) where we believe that you have violated the Shift to Learn terms and conditions; (b) where your user ID has been inactive for a prolonged period of time; (c) where we believe that you have provided information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete; (d) request of law enforcement or government agency; and (e) request by you (self-initiated account deletions). We are not responsible for notifying third-party providers of services, merchandise, or information, of any suspension, restriction, or termination of your access to Shift to Learn.
PAYMENT
Content includes but is not limited to online modules whichare paid services offered by 2244493 Alberta Ltd. If you enlist in our paid services, you are responsible for paying all fees before you can access the services. You must utilize a payment process through a third-party processing service (Stripe and WooCommerce) provided on Shift to Learn. 2244493 Alberta Ltd. reserves the right to use other third-party payment processing services with additional terms that may apply to such payments. If your payment is not accepted or you refuse to pay for our services, then we may try to collect fees utilizing other ways of collection, or we may refuse to provide you the services. Please note that fees may vary based on location, type of service purchased, or type of offered discount. 2244493 Alberta Ltd. is able to modify the service prices at any point in the future for any reason. The change will become effective immediately upon being posted on Shift to Learn.
After payment is received, you will be provided with immediate access to the Contents. Please note that you must use your email in order to log in to Shift to Learn, create an account, and access the Contents and materials.
GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
2244493 Alberta Ltd. is located in Canada. Disputes related to the terms provided here will be governed by the laws of Canada.
